Hi! I'm Amber.
In 2014, I became very sick after working at a high-stress job working for a tax attorney. It took months of testing and seeing doctors for them to ultimately say, "I broke my brain" and had me take strong painkillers (opioids) and was taking them like candy. This caused me to be bedridden for well over 2 years before I found a Neurologist that helped save my life and took me off all of the drugs the other doctors put me on.
Ultimately, I was diagnosed with Chronic Pain, Hemiplegic Migraines, Lupus and Fibromyalgia. If there was any type of stress, I would have flare ups and migraines which would put me down for another week at a time.
To this day I am still dealing with these issues, but have improved more and more as time passed by. It took years to gather several of the "puzzle pieces" together to find what helped and allowed me to be functional again.
Due to this illness, although I am always working on getting better, I am not able to hold a brick and mortar job whether it be full time or part time. Anytime I have a stressful situation, I'll have a flare up and it puts me down again for a few days. There is no way to hold one of those types of jobs due to being very difficult to find one that is extremely flexible with scheduling.
My treatments include methods like prescription medication (when needed), over-the-counter medication and CBD products. CBD actually was a major player years ago that skyrocketed me on my road to recovery.
Currently, I've been able to do background acting and work off/on at a local elementary school. It helps, but I needed to find something I can do from home on my own schedule since my health can change from week to week.
My husband found an educational course online that helped us learn how to create my own company and doing work from home. Taking this course literally changed our lives and allows me to work from home and make supplemental income to help our family.
This may or may not be what you could do, or would want to do if you learn these skills and that is the beauty of taking this course. You can use the skills however you like that is best suited for you and your interests.
For us, we created my company, The Jurassic Mom, LLC. I came up with that name because I love dinosaurs and always have. I have been happily married for 16 years! As well as a mother of two ADHD/Autistic teens. I have tattoos of dinosaurs, stickers of dinosaurs on my car, as well as a personal license plate about dinosaurs and many other things.
It's our mission to help others with Chronic Pain where we can by sharing our experiences and try to help people through the hard times and know they are not alone. Creating my company helps us be able to do that.
Becoming an Entrepreneur Changed our Lives Forever!
Probably like you, my husband and I were looking for something that would help us make supplemental income while working from home. There were a lot of different programs out there, as well as websites offering how you can make money online, but none of them ever felt right when looking into them.

After watching the introductory video and starting the challenge, my husband changed my views regarding it and we couldn't believe how much information and support was being provided!
Their approach is as real as it gets. I won't lie, it's not easy.
It takes work and absolutely is not a gimmick. They offered online classes which taught us step by step, day by day what having an online business is all about. They have a great support system that has been very valuable to us and they are available every step of the way. This was a great investment we made in ourselves and our future.
